Strawberry Shortcake: With SHORT in the name, it leads you to believe that this is a smaller type of dessert. Well, that is NOT the case with the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue's version of this southern classic! This restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort is famous for its comedy/musical dinner show and family-style food service. Have however much fried chicken, BBQ ribs, cornbread, baked beans, and salad you want! Oh, I almost forgot what attracts most people to this establishment: the bottomless beer and sangria... (We decided it would be smart to also book a cabin with transportation to and from the restaurant because of that.) However, I am not like most people. Although the food and drinks were all amazing, what sealed the deal for me with this restaurant is their Strawberry Shortcake made with large home-style biscuits and loaded with rich, strawberry-y filling that spilled all over the biscuits covering the plate in a beautiful bright red sea of yumminess, and topped with whipped cream. It was delicious down to the last spoonful. The beauty of it was when I said, "More please!" they brought some right out :)

Seth and I went with some friends of ours, 2 of which had been before. Visiting this restaurant seems like a right-of-passage at WDW, and people were shocked that I have been in Orlando for so long without having ever been. After a great night with lots of food, fun, friends, and DESSERT, I can't believe I hadn't been either!
