Tuesday's Tip
Counting calories can sometimes lead to unhealthy eating habits, but if you manage correctly, you will see great results. After plugging in some facts about my body to a calorie counting program in fitnessmagazine.com, I found out the amount of calories that I need to intake each day for me to fully function. When I know that birthday cake, an ice cream outing, or bake-off will be a part of my day, I carefully plan out a diet of extra healthy foods in smaller portions for the rest of my day so I can fully indulge in those sweets! This ensures that I stay within my allotted calories for the day and that my body still gets the nutrients that it craves to stay fit. The result? No guilt and full satisfaction!
