Nothing compares to the atmosphere of Main Street USA at Walt Disney World. The sights of turn-of-the-century architecture, Guests lined up to meet the famous Disney characters, the sounds of classic up-beat music, and the smells of All-American food like hotdogs and bakery items always leave me without a care in the world. The only thing that could possibly distract me from that strikingly beautiful icon at the end of Main Street USA is the smell coming from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. I have to go in for a treat to enjoy while finishing the walk up to Cinderella Castle.
2 large freshly homemade chocolate chip cookies with a couple of generous scoops of strawberry ice cream make up the biggest ice cream sandwich I have ever had! It really hit the spot on this warm day that we spent with friends at the Magic Kingdom. The "snack" was finished just in time to start riding the attractions. Thanks for the pick-me-up Mickey!
