Tuesday's Tip

Each night, I pack my lunch for the next day and include a couple of snacks for while I am out. I also have some idea of what we are doing for dinner that night, so my lunch is catered to compliment that. For example, if I know we are going for pizza, I might pack a salad or wrap for lunch with lots of veggies since I know dinner might not include those essential food items. On the other hand, if I know we are doing something super healthy for dinner like salmon and veggies, I may decide to have pasta for lunch. I usually have the same thing for breakfast every day (some kind of cereal). By knowing roughly what I am going to be eating in a day, I am less prone to search for extra snacks or unhealthy last-minute decisions. It might sound like a lot of work and too much stress to take on, but it's really not. Since I love food, I enjoy knowing what the next delicious thing that I am going to be eating is. Give it a shot!
