Tuesday's Tip
Going grocery shopping soon? Instead of splurging on the name brand cookies you love, splurge on the freshest fruits and vegetables. The deeper the color, the fresher it is. By doing this, you are guaranteeing that you are getting the most vitamins and nutrients that those fruits and vegetables contain. Since these food categories aren't always everyone's favorites, if you are going to eat them, make sure you're getting as much of the good as possible so that you don't have to eat more of them (unless, of course, you want to). Also, the fresher they are, the juicer and tastier they will be. My thought is that if I am not going to be chocolate and frosting, I am going to make the most out those other food items to give my body what it needs so that I can have what my sweet tooth wants later.
