With my birthday week officially over, I was looking back at pictures of the celebrations taken by my family and friends. I am so blessed to have such great people in my life who also shared in my special day (or week!). They sure do know the way to my heart, too! In addition to some delicious birthday treats, I enjoyed 2 birthday cakes- one chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, and one funfetti cake with bright pink vanilla frosting. With chocolate being one of my favorite food groups and funfetti being the flavor birthday cake I have had every year since I was a little girl, they made for quite the celebrations! Since I had 2 birthday cakes, I got to make 2 birthday wishes as I blew out the candles. I wished for the same thing twice, so does that mean that it is twice as likely to happen? I sure hope so! The only bad part about birthdays is that you have to wait a whole year before you can celebrate yours again. Thankfully, though, planning other people's birthdays is just as fun as celebrating my own, especially because it involves cooking and baking their favorite things. The next birthday in our family is Seth's!
