Light and Loose

Tuesday's Tip

Don't let the hot temperatures and humid airs prevent you from enjoying your outdoor workout. By wearing lightly colored loose fitting clothing, you will do your body a favor and be able to physically tolerate the outdoors during summer. Lightly colored clothing reflects heat better than darker colored clothing, so you won't feel the effects of those sun rays as much. Looser clothing also helps your sweat evaporate, so you won't feel drenched in sweat. Sometimes heavy breathing and sweating profusely makes you think you are more tired than you really are, and that'll end your workout much quicker than you might need to. That mind-over-matter struggle can be lessened by wearing those lightly colored loose fitting clothing, though, so get out there and enjoy the summer!
