Cooking Germ Free

Tuesday's Tip

You've got your fruits, veggies, and lean meat, and you're all ready to make a super healthy grilled chicken salad. Even though your ingredients are all nutritious, they aren't going to do you any good if you don't prepare them safely. Avoid cross-contamination by preparing your chicken on a separate cutting board than your fruits and veggies. The same goes for cooking utensils and pans. Be sure to thoroughly clean everything using soap and water after the cooking is complete so harmful bacteria doesn't grow. Lastly, be sure to wash your hands prior to enjoying your deliciously prepared meal. By following these tips, you are sure to only allow the healthy components of your well thought out meal into your body!
