Post Cheat-Day Woes

Tuesday's Tip

Are you feeling guilty because you had a "cheat day" yesterday? Perhaps you weren't planning on it, but those cupcakes were screaming your name or that pizza was begging you to be eaten. Maybe you just couldn't make it to the gym for a good exercise because you were too busy. Whatever it was, don't feel guilty! We're only human, and days like that are bound to happen. Don't worry, though, because a slip-up like that won't ruin all of the hard work you have done recently in regards to your health. It will, however, ruin it if the frequency of those days keeps up. So, while you're fresh out of having one of those days, get back on track today by packing yourself lots of healthy snacks to take to work. Focus on fruits and vegetables with lots of fiber, and make your lunch a bit smaller than it normally would be. You should be eating every 2 hours throughout the day so you are keeping your metabolism up which will give your body the opportunity to burn through those mistakes from yesterday. Also, drink lots of water so that your body is constantly being flushed out. You'll be back on track in no time!
