With holiday parties, work potlucks, and sweets everywhere in sight, it is near impossible to not participate (well, I guess if you have more will power than Will himself). The only difference between Christmas and any other occasion is that Christmas is a season, not just a day, so it can be a real struggle to stay healthy and feel good during this long time of celebrating. I find balance in offsetting the daily party or potluck with an extra healthy meal like a salad loaded with veggies and fruit with very little (if no) carbs. Although I may not enjoy that salad as much as chocolate, I know I am going to make up for it later by super enjoying the festive goodies! Totally worth the trade off.
