Fit Day Friday
When it comes to switching up workouts or doing something fun that won't seem like exercise, I always think back to my childhood. What were my favorite things to do when I got home from school? What was I rounding up the neighborhood kids to come and do as a group? One of my favorite afternoon past-times as a kid was rollerskating which, then, morphed into rollerblading. It was so much fun! I loved picking up speed and racing down to the end of the long street I grew up on. I even liked wearing the wrist-guards (don't ask me why...)! My puppy has gotten pretty darn fast, and I want to make sure she gets a good workout in, so I've been considering putting on my old blades and taking her for a spin. I can already see my smile from ear to ear, and I know that Motzi is going to love running so fast beside me! Another perk? If I get tired, hopefully she'll just pull me...
