Tuesday's Tip
Special occasions can sometimes put a damper on your healthy lifestyle. You want to indulge in your favorite comfort food and eat cake to celebrate, but your conscience is saying, "No... Stay on track..." Well, the way I see it is, if you are living a healthy lifestyle on a regular basis, you can have the freedom to let loose on those special occasions. Just like my dad always says, "Work hard, play hard!" Just know that you have to get back on track in the following days. You're not being bad, you're being bold! Food is a big part of every culture and a big part of celebrations. Food brings people together, whether you're making it or ordering it. So, what am I going to do today? Enjoy LOTS of delicious food and hopefully have some frosting-filled cake tonight because IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! Have a slice of cake in my honor today, ok?
