Bubbles!

Tuesday's Tip

Do you find yourself wanting food but not really being hungry? Have you ever started eating one of your favorite snacks and find yourself unable to stop the munching? Food isn't just a necessity in our lives, it is a hobby. Bored? What's there to eat... Having a party? What food will we serve... THIS HAS TO STOP! It is one of the top causes of obesity- unnecessary and excessively eating. There is more to life than that. A trick that I like to use when I know I am eating out of boredom is popping a piece of gum in my mouth. It makes my mind think I'm eating because of all of the chewing, gives my taste buds a burst of delicious flavor whether it is fruity or minty, and keeps my mouth busy without adding unneeded calories. So, how big of a bubble can you blow?

  1. Some of that is so me.. just lately I will feel hungry, make a sandwich or go cook a meal & when its made loose my appitite... Maybe I should try the chewing gun thing??

  2. I always just look for snack foods like nuts, pretzels, chips, etc. when im craving something. I'm totally going to try chewing gum instead!
