Fit Day Friday
Being in the midst of lots of spring breaks and Easter approaching, family vacations might be being planned. Going to visit family for the holidays? Taking a stay-cation with some friends to soak up some sun? Nervous about ruining your workout routine with being on vacation? Don't be. I always used to stress about how I was going to get a run in while staying at so-and-so's house in state XYZ, but then I realized how easy it would be to incorporate a similar thing into my vacation and have fun while doing it. I have ran Georgia, Ohio, Ireland, England, France, NYC, Oklahoma, South Carolina, the Bahamas, and other parts of Florida. They always went by so fast because there were so many new and exciting things to look at. After running on vacation for the first time, it instantly became something I would get excited to do when planning the next vacation destination. Keep in mind, it doesn't have to be exactly the workout you would normally, nor does it have to even come close to the amount of rigor it normally might, but look at is a good chance to explore your vacation destination in a very unique way. If you do miss a day or 2, however, don't freak out. A couple of days of no working out will be just fine.
