Another Day at the Office

Work has demanded more time at the office lately, and that means less time of being active which is definitely a struggle for me. I discovered an excellent leg-toning workout that you can do while sitting at your desk, though, and no one will even know you are doing something differently than just sitting there! If you have a chair that can raise and lower, lower it down so that your feet are planted touching the floor (ok, so maybe your chair always allows you to be like this, but for my 5' tall stature, some chairs make that a challenge!). Extend one leg out so that your toe is pointed and touching the floor, then lift up as far as you can under your desk, then lower it so it is hovering above the floor. Do this at a slow pace so that it takes 3 seconds to lift and 3 seconds to lower. Do this 10 times, then repeat with the other leg. Repeat that whole sequence 3 times, and do it multiple times a day if you'd like!
